A casual meeting in the park turned out great. Sancha and Kevin called me because they were in town and were soon leaving to go back to the mainland. It was a frantic weekend but I wanted to make sure I could meet their little girl. This almost 1 year old already got a lot of spunk. I loved it. She made it very clear from the beginning that she wasn’t having my “sit on the grass” idea. What was I thinking??? Luckily, as she was on the verge of screaming at me daddy flew in and scooped her off her feet and started doing the clock. Side to side “tick, tock, tick, tock.” It’s their thing. It definitely cracked me up. She’s Daddy’s girl for sure:) Watching them play made me smile ear to ear the whole session. I knew with Sancha and Kevin as my back up baby girl and I would be good friends. And we did. I’ve got the best job in the world.
Even after putting her on the blanket on the grass she still gave me the look but it was brief. We changed her mood with a little snack. 
In the end all was forgotten and we giggled about the whole “sitting on the grass” misunderstanding:)

ooooooo… you can tell she really didn’t like the grass by the “eagle-eye” she gave you!!! But the pix of her are so cute regardless!!! So adorable!!!

@YMBMom – Yes she really wasn’t amused with the “maybe she’ll like it on the blanket” whisper to her mother. She wanted to make sure I knew who the real boss was
