Aloha!

Hi, my name is Ashley.  There's a good chance you're confused because of my name and you're on the Taryn Reid Blog.  Alright, let me break it down...TARYN is my middle name and REID is my husband's first name. When I started my business I took both our whole names and smacked it up. flipped it. and rubbed it down. and out came TARYN REID PHOTOGRAPHY!...HOLLA!

I'm appreciative and thankful, I laugh out loud a lot, I love a good comedy, I love to meet new people and I try to stay in touch with old friends (thank you Facebook).  I can talk for hours about the iphone because I think it's the best invention ever.  I'm independent but dependent if that makes any sense.  I'm big on hugs and if you're on a shoot with me don't be shocked when I hug you at end of the session.  That's just how I roll :)

I'm currently working on my website so my blog will have my most recent work.  I'll also be posting freebies if I come across them, giveaways of my own, and random things I feel worthy or sharing.

Once in a while I come across things that I LOVE so much that I can’t keep it a secret.  Photofunia is an awesome program where you can upload your face to one of the many photo effects they offer.  I couldn’t stop cracking up!  I used a photo of my husband to sample just a few of their effects.  I’ll have to play with it more to get more funny stuff but in the mean time I’ll share the ones I have. Best thing about it is…IT’S FREE!  Not too many cool things are free in this resession so go to photofunia.com and have some fun!

I'm going to post about it soon. Check back for more FREE fun! Oh and that's hilarious that you kick it up a notch and photoshop out the logo! Crack me up!

June 18, 2009 - 3:20 pm Alex - Okay, this was such a gift from you! I used Photofunia for at least a million photos! I even went so far as to photoshop out the Photofunia logo! Nothing quite as exciting as Serious Keoki.
