I should’ve have known I was in for a huge surprise going up the escalator with all my camera gear. I looked up after checking to make sure I had all my stuff and I catch a glimpse of fishnet stockings, a garter belt and a super mini-skirt. My eyes drift higher and I see she even has a beard…whaaaaat??? I couldn’t help but smile. The group walk off the escalator yelling to friends “Maaaary”. You gottah love it!
This was my first time attending the Universal Showqueen Pageant and I was asked to photograph it. I have to say it was an amazing show! It’s a must see. Never a dull moment in there. You’ll definitely crack up with all the impromptu from the emcees. I thought I was in Vegas for a little bit. If you missed the show this year you can always purchase the DVD. Evening gown competition. These Queens looked good!
Showgirl Competition. It was a spectacle. Smoke came out of Kylee West Williams’ costume.
Yuni Carey stole the show with this number. Guy Hagi was a judge too so Kim Gennaula was in the crowd. During this competition she came right up to the stage and was cheering Yuni Carey on. She was in “awe.” I mean look at this photo. I could never rock it like that. It’s pretty sad on my part..lol
Congrats Yuni! This year was all you.
